I’m Sarah, but most people call me Slim. I started out by cutting my teeth in the agency world as a copywriter, but have since found my passion working directly on product and UX while collaborating closely with designers and engineers. In the past, I led the product writing at Kickstarter, and was both Tumblr and Oscar’s first copywriter. I currently work on the creation ecosystems team at Instagram, and sometimes I help early-stage startups establish their voice, tone, and purpose. When I’m not obsessing over language and design, I’m typically immersing myself in modern and contemporary art, exploring a new city, or learning a new language.
